OW-70

Perfect for both whole house replacements and new builds, the OW-70 is Origin’s slimmest window, with sightlines of just 65mm.

Those sightlines create an opening which makes the most of the surrounding space, as the combined frame and panes are made almost entirely from glass. On the outside, this feeling is furthered through a flush finish, which means that the glass and frames sit flush to each other, affording an altogether different look. This setup also means the combination is easier to maintain, as there are no protruding lips collecting dirt.

Available in fix frame, casement or bay, the OW-70 is created bespoke in over 150 colours, so whichever style you choose, you can ensure that you have the right configurations and colours to fulfil your needs and suit your taste.

Made from premium grade aluminium and built to last, each finish is powder coated, so not only will the frames not warp or flex with the weather, the colour won’t fade either. Elegant, strong and slimline, surpassing current building standards and with high levels of thermal efficiency, lead times can fit to your schedule and be as quick as a week, all delivered with an industry leading guarantee of up to 20 years.

OW-80

The OW-80 is the premium window style in the Origin Home range.

With sightlines of 80mm and made from super strong premium grade aluminium, the OW-80 can accommodate expansive individual sash sizes. In a fixed frame this could be as large as 7m2.

Available in picture, casement, bay, gable and French window styles, all configured to your particular needs, it can also feature the Georgian Bar look, which is right on trend.

As is customary with the Origin range, the OW-80 is available in over 150 RAL colours, but also includes a woodgrain effect. If you choose from one of the most popular colours, you will benefit from your lead time being fast-tracked.

Not only does the OW-80 look good, it delivers everywhere that matters, achieving the highest levels of security and thermal efficiency.

With an industry-leading, Secured by Design approved Yale Encloser locking system, accompanied by stainless steel hinges which have been tested to their very limits, the OW-80 is PAS:24 certified, and exceeds building regulations for security.

It also exceeds normal thermal efficiency ratings – at A++ – with a U-Value of 0.9W/m2 K, as it features the powerful insulation levels of Aerogel: the same treatment used on spacecrafts.

If you’re seeking a showstopping window, the OW-80 is a natural fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I use aluminium for my windows?

Aluminium windows are long-lasting and won’t need replacing for decades. They are also available with slim sightlines, making for better views of the outside world. Aluminium is easily shaped, allowing for more flexible design, while all options provided by Origin come complete with high level security features. Finally, windows made from this material are known to be easier to clean.

How thermal efficient are aluminium windows?

Aluminium windows were long seen to offer low thermal efficiency, but this has changed in recent years. Aluminium windows now feature innovative thermal breaks within their frames, preventing too much heat from being conducted. In 2020 Origin’s products are just as energy efficient as standard UPVC windows.

What configurations are available?

Origin’s aluminium windows can be tailored to your property, and made available in almost any size and configuration, including fixed and sashed casements, gables, bays and French windows.
